SHAWNEE, Kan. – March 14, 2023 – PRLog — Crystal Shovlowsky has been promoted to the role of Executive Director, effective March 20. Shovlowsky began working for Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care (KPHC) as the Community Relations Manager in June 2021, and within months, advanced to the Community Relations Director position. She has worked in hospice since 2015. As the Executive Director, Shovlowsky will lead the KPHC employees, ensure an exceptional standard of care, and produce, educate on, and implement improvement initiatives.

As Executive Director, Shovlowsky will continue to guide KPHC to respectfully meet the needs of patients, families, and communities. She will oversee the development and implementation of policies and procedures that are consistent with the Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care mission and vision statements and guidelines. Shovlowsky will collaborate with the management team to create an efficient, purposeful work environment. Her previous roles were Hospice Account Manager, Regional Liaison, and Community Liaison. Shovlowsky holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management.
